Selections refer to the original page numbers. Selected pages stay in their original order. The tool requires at least one output page; deleting all pages is rejected. Use the odd/even shortcuts to separate alternating pages in a duplex scan.
Select pages 2 and 4, then use Keep selected to create a two-page PDF. Switch to Delete selected to keep all other pages instead.

When this helps
Save a relevant section of a report, remove a blank scan, or share selected forms. Selection does not redact information within a retained page; use a dedicated redaction tool for that.
A little more clarity.
What to know before you go.
Can I delete pages instead?
Yes. Change the selection action to Delete selected.
Can I keep pages in a different order?
This tool preserves the original order. Use Reorder PDF Pages for a custom sequence.
How do odd and even selection work?
Odd selects original pages 1, 3, 5, and so on. Even selects 2, 4, 6, and so on.
Can I undo a selection?
Yes. Click a selected thumbnail again to deselect it, or use Clear selection.
