A FEW GOOD POINTERS

Tips for PDF to WEBP

Use 150 DPI for everyday sharing, 72 DPI for small previews and 300 DPI for fine detail. Higher resolution uses more memory and creates larger files. PNG suits sharp text and diagrams; JPG and WebP offer smaller lossy images. Page ranges start at 1. Overlapping ranges export each page once, in the order first listed.

A practical example

Export pages 1-3, 5 of a report as WEBP images at 150 DPI, then download the four images as a ZIP.

When to use PDF to WEBP

Create page previews for messages, presentation slides or web publishing. Image exports make PDF pages easy to display, but do not retain selectable text, links or interactive form controls.

GOOD QUESTIONS

PDF to WEBP: frequently asked questions

What to know before you go.

How do I use PDF to WEBP?

Choose one PDF, select the output format and DPI, and convert. Download each page image or the complete ZIP.

Can I choose particular PDF pages?

Yes. Leave Pages blank for all pages, or enter a range such as 1-3, 5. You can export up to 200 pages in one conversion.

Do images retain searchable text or links?

No. Each image shows the rendered page, including visible annotations, on a white background. Text, links and interactive controls become pixels.

Which resolution should I choose?

150 DPI is a useful default. Use 72 DPI for small previews or 300 DPI for detail. Very large pages or outputs over 200MiB require fewer pages or lower resolution.

Can I convert a protected PDF?

Password-protected PDFs are rejected. Save an unencrypted copy in a trusted PDF application and try again.
