Blur a Face in a Photo
Blur face regions, licence plates or sensitive text by drawing directly on your image. Use Pen, Circle or Square, choose Pixelate (the default), Smooth Blur or Solid Cover and see the result immediately. Face detection is manual; review every sensitive area before sharing.

Select every area that needs obscuring
Face blurring changes the pixels within regions you mark on a picture. Klyvero supports manual pen and shape selection with pixelation, smooth blur or solid cover. It does not automatically locate faces. Review the entire image for missed faces, reflections and identifying context; a blurred face alone does not guarantee that a person cannot be recognized.
Crop out an unwanted image region when removing the whole surrounding area is sufficient for the intended picture.
How to use Blur Face
Choose input
Open the photograph and identify the private regions.
Review settings
Choose Pen, Circle or Square and draw over the private areas. Choose a blur style for new areas. Pen controls let you adjust size and strength; existing areas keep their settings. Undo strokes or clear the selection.
Save results
Inspect the live preview and download the blurred PNG at its original dimensions.
Tips for Blur Face
Include a margin around each face or sensitive label. Blur can leave enough information to recognize a person or infer text, so use stronger settings and inspect carefully. Use opaque redaction mode when a region must be fully covered.
Add a rectangle around a visible licence plate, choose Opaque redaction for full coverage, and inspect the exported copy before publishing.

Blur Face: frequently asked questions
What to know before you go.
Are faces detected automatically?
No. Draw over each face or private area on the preview. Mouse, touch and keyboard drawing are supported; exact coordinates remain available in advanced controls.
Can I obscure several areas?
Yes. Draw multiple brush strokes or shapes. Undo removes the last selection and Clear all restores the original preview.
Does blur guarantee anonymity?
No. Context and remaining details may identify someone. Review the output and use opaque redaction when blur is insufficient.
Can I hide text instead of a face?
Yes. Select any rectangle, including text or a licence plate, and blur or cover it.
When is a solid cover preferable to a blur over text?
Use solid cover when the selected pixels should be fully replaced rather than merely made less clear. Blur and pixelation can leave recognizable clues. Include a margin around the text, then inspect the exported PNG rather than relying only on the editing preview.
