Rotation and mirroring change an image differently
Rotation turns a picture around its center, while flipping mirrors it horizontally or vertically. Klyvero applies quarter turns and optional flips to supported still images, with PNG export. A 90° or 270° turn swaps width and height. Mirroring can reverse text, so examine signs and labels before using a flipped photograph.
Resize the rotated image when corrected orientation still leaves the wrong output dimensions.

Tips for Rotate Image
Use a quarter turn for sideways scans. Flipping mirrors the picture and can reverse text. GIF and other animated input is exported as a still image; keep the animated original.
Rotate a 600 × 400 landscape photo by 90° to create a 400 × 600 portrait-oriented copy.

Rotate Image: frequently asked questions
What to know before you go.
Can I rotate several photos together?
Yes. Up to 20 files use the same rotation and flip settings. Download separately or together as a ZIP.
Does rotation change dimensions?
90° and 270° swap width and height. 0° and 180° keep the original dimensions.
Does this preserve GIF animation?
No. It exports a still PNG frame. Keep the original animated file.
Can I rotate only portrait or landscape inputs?
Use the orientation filter to process all images, only portrait images or only landscape images. Square images are included only with All.
Why did my wide photo become tall after rotation?
A quarter turn swaps the image's width and height. For example, a 600 by 400 photo becomes 400 by 600 at 90° or 270°. Use resizing separately if the destination requires another pixel size.
